FAQ

Why use the Critter Sitter?

Research shows that animals are most comfortable in a familiar environment. Many veterinarians recommend that pets stay at home when their owners are away so that they maintain their regular diet, which avoids digestive problems, and sleep and play in their accustomed places, with familiar smells and sights. In addition, there's no risk of acquiring diseases or parasites from other animals in a kennel.

Do you advertise on your vehicles?
No, as general rule in this industry it is highly un-professional to advertise on a vehicle, wear uniforms or do anything that can make unwanted eyes know that you are away from your home.

Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes, we have a business license with the city of Medicine Hat and we are bonded and fully insured with specialized Pet Insurance.

What services do you provide?
We will visit your home each day, feeding your pet the food you choose, providing fresh water, exercise, accident and litter box clean-up, and medication or emergency care, if necessary. But, most of all, we will play with your pet — providing the needed bright spot in the day while you're away. We will have the name of your veterinarian and will arrange for care should your pet become ill. We are familiar with the veterinary emergency clinics in the area.

We will also water your plants, get the mail and newspapers, cycle the lights and drapes and take out the trash if needed. Please visits our services page for more detailed information.

How much do your services cost?
Please visit our rates page for pricing.

What areas do you cover?
Currently we cover Medicine Hat, Dunmore and Redcliff. If you live in the county special arrangements can be made.

If you have any questions please email or phone us @ 502.9960, we would be more than happy to help you.
